Seattle to Europe: A New Route Reveal for Alaska Airlines

This custom launch box was created to celebrate Alaska Airlines’ new nonstop routes from Seattle to Paris and Athens. Designed as an immersive reveal, the refined navy exterior opens into a cinematic North Atlantic route map, where illuminated flight paths connect Seattle with the two new European destinations.

A “Pull Here for Takeoff” tab initiates the experience, bringing the routes to life as the box opens. Inside, a pair of custom die-struck fridge magnets and destination boarding passes extend the story through collectible travel keepsakes.

The creative brief called for a clean, editorial and modern travel-poster aesthetic rooted entirely in Alaska Airlines’ signature color palette. Inspired by vintage airline route maps and reinterpreted through a contemporary brand lens, the aurora serves as the hero route-line motif—guiding the eye across the Atlantic and capturing the excitement of new possibilities in European travel.
